I'm planning on building a Intel based computer pretty soon. Im going put a Core 2 Duo E5000 in it. My problem is the motherboard. To be precise, the area around the RAM/VGA. I need at least a couple of inches of space between the VGA slot and the RAM slot. I will be putting my "Evercool RAM Cooler" to blow air on my RAM. I'm using this cooler in my Asus A8N Sli Deluxe, and it sits righ next to my VGA card, pushing the VGA card a good 3mm to 5mm. Can anyone recommend a MOBO that has some space between the VGA slot and the RAM slot, unlike the Asus A8N SLI Deluxe. Also I have a Sapphire Radeon Single slot HD3870 card, which is long. Thats why I need the space.
Sorry to break it to you but...RAM DOES NOT NEED COOLING. Whatever it comes with is usualy overkill, and these fan units are a scam. If your memory is overheating, it is defective.
