Which One!?!?

    I am going to get a digital camcorder this weekend, but I am still unsure which one I should get. Could y'all please recommend a good, reasonably priced camcorder for me? I want it to have excellent digital video for web posting as I have relatives that live across the country that I want to send vids to. I also want one that will take still pics.

    If you're goal is only to send video over the Internet, you don't realy need a high quality camera. In order to reduce the filesize to a level that is practical for that you will have to compress it anyway which will result in significant loss of quality. However, if you also want to use it to wacth them on TV and/or burn DVD's, you need a decent camera.
    A choice is always a balance bewteen different factors, among which is the amount of money you want to spend. Here's an article that discusses the aspect you should be paying attention to:
