I have a pair of Pioneer CS-G305 3-way speakers with freq of 35-20kHz, impedance of 6 ohms, and power of 120w. I also have Sony SS-MB215, imp 8ohms and power of 140w. Which speakers would work best as front speakers? Would the other pair be usable as surround speakers? Thanks

Whichever pair you can get a matching center for. It's very important that the front three speakers timbre (voice) match. If you can't get a matching center for either, I say buy three new speakers for the front.
Since the Sonys are 8 ohm, and easier to drive, I'd use them for the surround speakers. If you have a 7.1 receiver, that can handle a heavy load, you can also use the Pioneers as the back surrounds.
