Which steps to convert a Blu-Ray mkv file into DVD-5

    What are the steps I should follow to go from a Blu-Ray file compressed as MKV to files I can burn a DVD-5 with?

    Until now I have tried a program called Free Video Converter, but I get out of sync audio.

    I also demuxed the mkv file with MKVextractGUI, getting an h264 video file and two audio files (DTS and AC3), but I don't know where to go from there. That is converting the h264 file onto an AVI or mpeg2 file that I can use to author a DVD-5 disc.

    What player are you going to be using, PS3? Do you want it as Blu-ray or just AVI? For Blu-ray use tsMuxer for avi use ConvertXtoDVD if you have it.

    A regular DVD player.

    I don't have BR player yet. But the AVI file I intend to convert onto VOB files.

    I don't quite like ConvertXtoDVD on final quality, but as I said I need the files to be VOB
