White bar appears at bottom of MKV video in Media Player Classic only

    Hi all

    I'm playing a 1080p MKV file in Media Player Classic using the VMR9 renderer since no other renderers work on this laptop.

    However, I get a ~10px light grey bar appearing at the bottom of the video which does not disappear even if I change resolution/fullscreen etc. The bar is not present in VLC, which makes me think that the problem is with the renderer or the video itself, somehow.

    Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

    Why do you insist on using MPC when there are other software that can play that video?
