    Hi!
I have windows Vista, and just recently, all of a sudden, when I play a video file (avi, mpg) nero plays the audio just fine, but the video is white. At the begining of the file it looks like you can partially see the screen but the fades completely to white. I am having this same problem with Quicktime. These will play just fine with Windows Media player ( I just dont like WMP) These are my home movies and have played just fine until now. I tried using Windows update and updated nero as well, but the files still will not play with either program. Any thoughts on what could be wrong and how to fix?
    Thank you!!!

    1. Go to Control Panel and open up Default Programs

    2. Click on Change Autoplay Settings

    3. Go to bottom and click Restore to Defaults
