I dont know if this will get moved sorry mods if it does but i was wondering who has seen this movie and what do you think about it? I saw it last night i thought it was pretty good.
I watched the unrated version and loved it enough to watch it again over at geestar's place a few days later. The gore was extremely well done and wonderfully brutal
I've only seen the original....I should get around to seeing the remake. I'm always skeptical of remakes...but lately there have been a few really good one that have come out.
People looking for a stellar plot in a gore flick might want to rethink their priorities punqewe, I'm a very, very hard sell when it comes to remakes and there have been a precious few that I've actually give enough consideration to sit down and watch (especially when it comes to lame Hollywood remakes of excellent Japanese horror flicks). I think they did a good job with it, at least the unrated version as I haven't seen the theatrical release (never do when given the option).
I dugg the hell out of it! -Neph- always comes through with some kick ass flicks! TOO BAD IM A FRAIDY CAT TO WATCH IT BY MY SELF!! lol....seriously.....
never seen the original but, watched the newest version and loved it. my wife could'nt make it through it. it was awesome.
Lol twisted scene in the trailer on the unrated version but if i can watch it and im 14 you should be able to watch is geestar haha
That is absoluitely wierd! I only watched that the other night, id never heard of it, and now you ask if anyones seeen it! Thats really strange! How scary. Yeh that bit in the trailor disgusted me, but its just a film. I likes the dog that finished off the guy with the mutated neck! What a good dog. At the end it shows you that there are more of the mutants, does this mean that they are supposed to not make it or something? I ahte open ended films like that, i cant stop thinking aobut the possible endings. hee hee.
The Hills Have Eyes It's the wedding anniversary of rugged Cleveland police detective "Big Bob" Carter and his chatty wife Ethel and to celebrate, Bob's asked his extended family to cruise to California with them, hoping the joys of the open road might help fuse their frayed connections. No one is particularly happy about it. Eldest daughter, Lynn, worries about her new baby's safety and comfort while her husband, mild-mannered tech geek, Doug, worries about close encounters with his father-in-law. Meanwhile teen daughter, Brenda, detests the idea of leaving her friends for a family bonding trip, while young prankster Bobby is anxious to entertain the family's two German Shepherds, Beauty and Beast. Nevertheless, the entire clan piles into a weathered Suburban pulling Bob's beloved '88 Airstream trailer and heads west. Then, Big Bob takes a detour. Suddenly, the Carter family finds themselves in a desolate stretch of desert, with nothing seemingly alive for miles. When they run into a little unexpected vehicle trouble, they realize they are in dire straits, far from help, with a relentlessly sweltering desert sun overhead. But even as they fight to survive the deadly desert, a far greater threat emerges. Now the Carters become aware that they are not quite as alone as they first thought. There is another group of survivors in the hills surrounding the desert: a genetically mutated, insatiably hungry, blood-thirsty clan--the terrifying offspring of miners left behind in the days when atomic tests spread radioactive fallout across the desert--who will stop at nothing to prey on the Carters one by one. Facing the very depths of savagery, the Carter family must pull together if they are to find any hope of returning to civilized life again--alive. Liked the original better, saw it in a drive-in upstate NY, pretty spooky. Nothing beats a gory horror flick at a drive-in. The young-uns don't know what they be missing.
guess so blivetNC , i haven't seen the original movie(maybe i should)did see the the new one, the Unrated version which i thought was pretty good, i thought it was ten times better than Wolf creek which is kind of the same plot
