Who owns a HP DVD 300i

    If you do please check your Device Manager and see what ixs says under DVD/CD-ROM and post what it says here please. I am just curious cause mine says 300n and HP says that fine. So if anyone would take the time I would greatly appericate it.

    I doubt you need to worry about it. Its just like Pioneer DVR106, A06, A06D, etc....They are all the same actual hardware unit!

    for what it is worth I hav a dvd200i and it shows up on my computer as a 200j. Everything works fine though and I am quite pleased with the drive. ($150 canadian)

    I have a 300i, but the box it came in sez 300vi. Just like yours, everything in my device mgr sez 300n. I believe 300n is a blanket designation for the 300 series hp dvd writers. I really like mine.
