"There ain't no free lunch" I can't help but suspect each time I down load some free software such as AVG, Spybot etc there is a catch. What are we giving up when we download these programs?
Its a means of keeping control of the software's development and there's so much freeware available it would be hard to sell anything without some very good marketing tactics. They have their ways and means of making money.
