why can my captured video vcd play only on pc and can't on tv . n any easy v/capt software trial

    I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but hope someone can help me. I need to record a daily half hour streaming video (BennyHinnMinistries to be precise. I downloaded some trial video apture software but they're all so complicating...replay AV, NSV,BSR etc. Can you recommend me a few that records automatically or with just 1 click?
    Today I tried one that records WM Player only (fine, sine I use WMP) but when I burned to cdr, the vcd would play on computer but not on my TV. It shows the format as WMV. If I can do something to enable it to play on TV, this software should be fine.

    BTW, the simple one I mentioned is called WM recorder. Can someone tell me why after I burn the vcd, it won''t play in my tv.
    Pls direct me to the right thread cause I'm new in this area. Thks all
