Just curious, Why my computer makes the clicking sound even when I'm not clicking any thing. I've run a couple of spyware and virus protection scans and found nothing. I was thinking it might be some body on the outside looking in. I don't have any thing to hide that I am aware of. I've got the settings so the computer doesn't save any personal info (I believe). Any answers are appreciated.

try locating the sound source as might not be speakers. my test monitor ticks some times when on but not connected to a computer.

My ADSL modem used to make a clicking sound when it connected or tried to connect :D So what I wan to say is that the source of the voice can be something you least expet :D have you bought some new hardware lately that could cause the voice?

    EDIT: typo

I always though it was a blocked pop-up or a firewall block of some sort... Sometimes that happens to me, i get 2 or 3 clicks at once...

My pop up stopper does that. Also if you are getting redirected it will do that. Some redirects are instant so when you click to go to that page, it will click again when the redirect from that page to the next occurs.

My popup stopper has the option to "Play sound on popup kill" which I have unchecked so now it is silent.
