I'm a novice but I followed the right steps I'm sure (I think). I burned a song onto a music RW disk. It played back using Win media player, but when I put it in my regular CD machine in the lounge room it doesn't find the disk. Says, "No Disk". I burned it as an audio CD to play in all CD players. When I inserted the disk into the PC Incd formatted it. What could be the problem?
InCD is used for data purposes, it formatted your disk for use with a PC as a floppy disk. Try again and disable InCD before you put in your disk.
i turned off Incd and used a new disk. It's labelled Music RW. I burned an MP3 onto it. Still my CD player doesn't recognise the disk.
convert? In the Nero manual it says it automatically converts mp3's to whatever it does. Is this not the case? So how do i convert an mp3?
Just asked to make sure you used Nero to burn a CD and not make an MP3 disk. You can only play MP3 disks on players that have that ability.
so what?? This tells me CD-R is read once and RW is blah blah. What has that got to do with my problem.
@wally5 - arniebear has explained everything for you. try a cd-r as he suggested (as not all stereo's can play rewritables)
