Why wont anyone awnser!! waaa plzzz

Hello, i downloaded a number of web browsers for R4 but when i try to connect it will just sit there, the Nin wifi reg tool doesnt say that my ds is connected or anything! same with that MSN messenger for ds, i just can connect but all games e.g. mariokart work fine
with the nintendo wifi usb connector, ive also tryied turning it into a softap, but that didnt work either
And also, is there a battery meter kinda like the PSP one that i can download and put to my R4 so i know exactly or approx how much battery time i have left
