I got folder2iso and dvd decrypter. when i follow the guide up the the burn step, it says that i do not have enough sectors to burn the dvd. I am using a dvd-r. is there other blanks i need to buy for this step? also when i click continue anyways i get an I/O error. what should i do for this?

You need to compress your files with DVD Shrink before trying to burn...your error means that your disc isn't big enough.

EDIT: Also depending on the movie you are trying to backup DVD Decrypter probably won't be effective on because it hasn't been updated in several years. I would suggest using DVDFab HD Decrypter, DVD Shrink and Imgburn. Here is a guide:

and dont use folder2iso, dvd shrink will iso it aswell as shrinking (to fit dvdr)

if useing dvd shrink set output size about 4300 (options/preferences) (keep from burning to outer edge of dvdr)
