Hi. I have this avi file that has this wiered Green wave lines going across the screen. For example if there is an object thats moving from left to right, it leaves behind this green wave of corrupt image. I had DivX 5.2 and Xvid 1.0.2 installed. So I thought one of them might be causing it. I uninstalled both, and it still does it. A friend of mine tried it on his computer and it worked just fine. I tried using WMD 9, and that WM Classic (a stand alone program), both had same problem. Also I tried G-Spot, and when I had codecs installed it was reporting that I had all the compatible codecs isntalled. After I uninstalled DivX and Xvid it now reports that DivX is misconfigured. How can I fix it? I already uninstalled it. Thx.
re-install divx, then xvid. Make sure generic support for mpeg-4 is unchecked in the divx decoder. Give that a try and see if it helps.
