WiFi Rom Question

Which games can you actually play online that work on the R4...if there is a lot, then list the really fun and good ones.


What about DS Download Play?

if you dont trim roms, or use a proper trimmer, and use a proper dump, all roms will work with online play.

for download play to work, the R4 team have recently (3 days ago) released a new version of the kernel which supposedly adds full download play compatibility. whether this works properly or not is untested. I do know that older versions of the kernel did not support download play unless the DS firmware was replaced with flashme.

 

All games I've tried work with Wi-Fi:
Mario Kart
Custom Robo
Metroid Prime Hunters
Animal Crossing
Bomberman Land Touch
Pokemon
Star Fox
Tetris

 

How do you get the Wi-Fi to work though?

 

If there are steps, can you put them down, cause I would really like to play wifi ^.^ BTW, I use NO$GBA 2.4c

 

I'm guessing, that its emulator wise though =(

You can't use Wifi with an emulator, you need a DS, a flashcart and a wireless router or the Wifi USB dongle.

 

Ok, thanks, but, do you think it will be possible later on for wifi on an emulator? I might not have to worry about that though.... Probably just going to get a DS soon.

 

It's a possibility... Hard to say at this point.

 

please stay to the point... start a new thread about wifi emulation if you like... better still buy a DS+R4

 

I'm just going to get a normal DS for my b-day >.> I'm lazy, and emulators lag like a mother fusker, so.... and, me and my friends can play when ever we want hehe.
