I am interested in a modded wii. Is there any suggestions on what route I should go. What about these solderless chips, and this no chip software way? Who should I buy one from? Is this Progen Mods a legitimate company.
I'd say if you don't mind spending a little more $, then buy a chipped wii as they have better/faster reading rates and have virtually 100% compatibility. Buy it from anyone... I prefer modchipcentral.com though (not trying to advertise for them; just saying that they are the people I bought from).
Well I just bought a chip and installed it myself. I reccomend Wiikey version 2 as it is a universal clip that is by the best brand.
