Ok, i have a modded xbox with an udgraded HDD that has been TSOP flashed, and i have an virgin xbox SOFTmodded to the point where i have FTP access. Now, i want to upgrade the HDD on my VBOX, using this method http://xboxscene.com/articles/exploit-hd-upgrade-modded-xbox.php But it says you need a chipped box. On the otherhand isnt a TSOP flash pretty much the same as a modchip? so i would be able to do this right? I just wanted to know if a TSOP flashes xbox will boot any old hard drive, even if it is locked with the wrond eeprom or unlocked. And if for some reason i can't boot my already modded box b/c i left the drive unlocked or locked with the wrong eeprom, could i bring it back someway?
well to anyone who would want to know the answer, i found out it was yes. you take the virginbox's eeprom and put that eeprom in your tsop or chip box. then put the virgin hdd into the chippbox and boot it with slayers or evox or whatever. Then use configmagic to lock te virginbox's hdd, using the chipbox, then put it back and softmodd the v-box. its soo easy and awesome i reccomend it to anyone.
