That should be it as far as I'm aware. Have a read of the thread I directed you to and the process is explained in detail.

The Combo works on Both of the above, it's just not public.

Updates will apparently be available in the next day or so.

wonder how long we have been hearing that as the starview 6 has been working in Ireland since Feb so it should be working there as well NOW and not tomorrow or next week or next month and the file should be out in the public domain as people have bought this box for that reason.

Maybe the same can be said for the Kryptview it's working in the UK "NOW" so why not in Ireland, or maybe it's due to the timeframe as you said ealier, LOL

As i said above it will be here next day or so, you have never heard it previously from me have you ?

Maybe your listening to the wrong people.

And there is more people in the Uk than ireland and when N3 kicked in over in ireland back in august 2009 nobody was really prepared for that and as such peopele took out subs to both sky and upc so the Uk took precidence on that so same would not happen there due to the amount of people so now that the Uk is sorted im sure Ireland will be next on their agenda.

yes but Sv is only working on one symbol rate in Ireland why is that ?? 6887

should not have to hear that from you it should have been available back in FEB when the starview 6 was done not nearly 4 months after. Sell a product but forget about the support i supose that makes sence alright

Is your problem based solely with the Starview or Product Support in general ?

The Kryptview took on board the Uk first due to the availaibilty of Subbed cards, they initially opted for Ireland but were struggling to find Donors.

I will not pass on too much information publically on these boards due to prying eyes but your supplier will verify this if they are close to the source.

6887 is to be added shortly but no doubt you’ll say you’ve heard this before. Can i confirm this”NO” because i’m not doing it. But as many of us are just passed information it is not always date/time specific so we are open to criticism.

But as far as i’ aware,

I swear to tell the truth
    The whole truth
    And nothing but the truth
    So help me god.

    Enjoy

Support is a big thing in any box and in Sv case they dont really have any and no loyalty to their customers as per say previous boxes been left without support only for a certain individule doing it.

Same as dongles for the first lot of combos lol never to be seen

dublinda you will only get what channels your provider supports

When you say previous boxes, are we talking of Starview 4/5 or earlier ?

Thanks for the info londonjon, ( nice to see a useful post from a newbie instead of some of the rubbish posted by some newbies!!)

So what do you get with a HD COMBO box, does it include server sub for cable and sat ??
and is it a new box needed after a year?
