Anyone know? Thinking of getting a DSi and a Acekard 2i for it. But will any of my game saves transfer over to the new card or will I have to restart all my games?

Also how do i know if Acekard 2i is legit or a bootleg version? And do they work in American DSis? Also is the Acekard 2i as good as the M3 DS real?

Is there any chance nintendo will block access to these cards with some kind of forced patch on any games? Also why do the old carts not work while this Acekard 2i card works fine?

Well I know that M3 Real uses 512kb .sav style saves - anyone got a AceKard 2i who can confirm what saves that one uses?

On the firmware block the answer is yes

If you visit the DSi shop to get DSi ware (the only DSi games available) then at the moment it offers an update (Latest 1.3) it is also mentioned that they will be adding the update to DSi games (bit like PSP). At some later stage you may be forced to accept the update, it has been confirmed that the current flash cards still operate with the 1.3 update added.

AceKard and EZ Flash have the ability to flash the Kernal (the main software on the chip - not the firmware update) this means that they should be able to overcome the update, however how long it would take and if it will always be possible is a big unknown. DSTTi does not have this feature and adds a warning to its packaging that the card may be made useless by a future upgrade in DSi software
