will this work on this dinosaur?

    ok, my HP pavilion took a bad nose dive this morning...so i had to pull out the old compaq presario 5bw130
    667 Mhz
    192 mbr
    15 gig HD
    (dont laugh because i sure am)
    OS:xp pro
    so anyway i i yanked the hp dvd 400i writer out and put it in...went to the software and driver site and downloaded this~~~~~~>Introduction:

    CPQFlash.exe is a utility which is designed to flash the System ROM within a
    Windows environment.

    NOTES:
    1. [Path]CPQFlash -? will display the available options for this utility.

    2. If the system has a F10-Setup password enabled, then CPQFlash will prompt
    for the password to be entered before completing the flash process.

    Installation:

    1. Copy the CPQFlash.exe to the PC to be flashed.
    Recommended path is CPQFlash.

    2. Copy the ROM.CAB file provided to the same path as above.


    Usage:

    1. Close all other applications before launching CPQFlash.

    2. On the Windows Task Bar select Start, then Run, and enter
    the following on the command line:
    [Path]CPQFlash

    3. CPQFlash will inform the user that a ROM flash is about to occur.

    4. The version of the ROM image in the ROM.CAB file and the version of the
    current System ROM are displayed. Once OK is selected the flash
    process begins.

    5. Upon completion, the user is notified that the ROM Flash was
    successful. Select Shutdown.

    6. Turn the unit back on using the power button.

    7. The system ROM update is complete.



    Advanced Usage:

    should this get the burner to run on here...i havent installed it yet...just wanna make sure b4 i actually mess something up...if any1 has ANY sugestions please reply ASAP...good looking out to whom ever replies

    from the looks of it, it should work

    what are the minimum specs of the DVD Drive?
