    Hi
I have seen threads on how to merge multiple files/scenes into one VOB with win avi. This would produce a continuous output.
Is win avi capable of loading one film with diffferent episodes , ( all from same source i.e avi)but producing a single dvd keeping the differnt episodes so you can flick from one episode to another.

No. You can join files to 1 larger file but you will have no menu to change between episodes and adding multiple files only results in a single file burned to 1 DVD. Have a look at VSO ConvertXtoDVD; it will do all you need including menues but the trial will leave a watermark in your video.
