I am trying to convert .rm files to avi, I know winavi is supposed to be able to do it but I get the message that its missing the real media codec. I downloaded the codec from support and now I need to know exactly which folder to extract the files to so that winavi will see them. All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
As far as I know it just uses Gabest's dshow real media filters. These require Real Media codecs as used by Real Player. You just install the player or you can install Real Alt (not exactly legal).
