i recently aquired an avi of an old movie i liked as a kid because it hasnt been released on dvd yet.its in avi format and its broken in 2 parts cd1 and cd2.i took both of them seperatley and converted them to dvd format using winavi.when tyey were both done i tried to blend them together by using dvdshrink.ive done this many times before but when i did i used divxtodvd then shrink, and had no problems.since ive changed from divx to dvd to winavi ive had a problem opening up the video ts folders in shrink.now the cd1 and cd2 of the movie togther are not that big and dont need compressing but using dvshrink is the only way i knew how to join to diffenrent video ts folders together and make 1 folder.so it all can be burned on one dvd.i need help please.
Use Easy Video Joiner to combine the two AVI files into one. http://www.doeasier.org/joiner/ After that convert with your WinAVI and burn.
Even easier: VirtualDub (see the explanation: 'Joining AVI files' in http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/). It works always (AVI wheth MP3, AVI with AC3), except when you receive the error 'different sampling rates' (bad AVIs, having MP3 VBR instead of MP3 CBR).
