winavi audio synch problem pls help!!!!!

    hi ive been trying to convert a xvid film with winavi 7.1 but when its finished and i play it back through the pc as a dvd file theres a delay in the audio,ive tried a few other programs to and the same thing is happening please help this is driving me crazy!!!
