    Hi,
Each time when I let WinAvi convert my AVI files to DVD files and when I put chapters in my DVD, and when I try to play it back on the DVD-player
then the movie will freeze for 2 seconds after each chapter and will then continue.

This is verry irritating, can someone help me out?
So I can let WinAvi put chapters in my DVD files without the freezing of 2 seconds?

I do this all along without problems. I usually set chapter length to be 10 minutes (600 seconds). So which version of WinAvi are you using (I'm using 7.6), and does this happen before the burning to dvd?

In that case you may try encode with Winavi but burn with another program (e.g. Nero Recode).

I always burn with Nero ''burning video files'' and when I encode with Nero Vision Express and burn it with the same program as WinAvi, then I dont have any problems.

I suggest you make a upgrade to v7.6.
Maybe that can help you. :)

Winavi has made significant improvements since 7.5. Upgrading is a good idea.
