Hi im not 100% sure but it could be the media you are burning to also make sure you dont have a heap of programs running in the background while burning. What media are you using?what dvd writer are you using? and try updating firmware all these things are simple and when things are going bad its always good to go back to the basics. Any way hope any of the info helps you out good luck!!

Hi.. I've been using WinAVI a LOT this week on a project I'm doing in DVDLab Pro, and haven't had the singlest problem...

have you tried pre-viewing the project after it's compiled with a software program such as WinDVD? Perhaps you can see if it's the media chosen. Although I must confess I haven't seen a system so picky with the media as DVD... you have to be very careful about that... it's amazing

You may want first to ascertain what is going wrong by checking each step of the burning process:
    1) check original avi
    2) check after conversion
    3) burn to harddisk first and check
    4) burn to dvd and check
