Right, so I've converted numerous .avi files with WinAVI to DVD format and burnt using DVD Decrypter but when I play it on my standalone DVD player (Panasonic SA HT70- fairly old) the movies do not play "No DVD" error, but DVDs creatd using Nerovision Express work perfectly- is there something I'm missing out? Any help will be appreciated.

edit-- Media used are Verbatim 8x discs and are all burnt at 4x.

First, try to play the DVD on your pc to see if it ok.
If that the burned disc might not be compatible with your DVD player. You can visit http://www.videohelp.com to find some information on how to make the disc compatible with your DVD player. For example, you can try to use other software to make a disk compatible with stand alone DVD players. (Burn a disk with WinAVI Video Converter, which plays well on your computer, and then copy it disk with DVD X Copy to get a useable DVD for home use).

Yeah I thought so- I guess I'll have to stick to Nerovision and it's lengthy times for now. Thanx.
