WINAVI HELP NEEDED,HOW TO MAKE OUTPUT FIL3 700 MB

    I have the latest version of winavi 8.0,but can't figure out how to get the avi which is the output file to compress to 700 mb,also the subtitles appear no matter what i do,any help is greatly appreciated,and if you know of a better program to use please advise me,thanks. trying to convert dvd to avi file.

    I would use fairuse wizard lite (it's free). But fairuse only works with ISO dvd files. If all you have are dvd folders (video ts /audio ts) you can use dvdshrink to back them up to ISO.

    Fairuse default avi output is 700mb. And this program will keep your video in perfect audio sync.

    Winavi is great (and very fast) at converting mpeg files to avi, but when I used it to convert vob's to avi, the quality wasn't very good and the video would go out of sync during conversion.

    thanks for the replies,I've been trying all kind s of different programs to get the movies down to 700 mb,but they either come out over 700 mb,or out of sync or both,winavi can get them into avi format in about an hour but won't stay under 800 mb
