I just bought a new PC with windows MCE and downloaded a movie from the Independent Film Channel only to find I couldn,t even view the film let alone record it because apprently I don't have the correct permission or whatever. Anyone else experiencing this same problem or is it something I'm doing wrong. Dumb me! I thought I could download a film and watch it at my convenince later on. But No! not even an old movie. I"m thinking maybe MCE is CRAP!!!

I suspect it is a problem with the Independent Film Channel, not Windows. Pretty much everything you download from a site or service has DRM nowadays. If you don't like it, take your business elsewhere and drop them a note stating why.
