Window Media Player "Real Player Codec".....

    i have a rmvb file and i cant open it with windows media player is there a codec i can download to be able to play it in windows media player. i dont want to download seprate programs, like a single codec i can just place it in windows media player codec and be able to play it there

    You need to have real players codecs installed and Gabest's real media direct show filter.

    If you want a single file download then I guess Real Alt, however it is technically illegal.

    i just want to like copy codecs into windows media player so i can play real in windows media player

    the whole point is i dont wanna download any seperate program just codecs for windows media player

    Well you can't get around the fact that you need to install real codecs, which means either real player or some kind of pack.
