    Hi!
I posted before regarding my laptop couldn't recognize BenQ with an external enclosure.
I have changed the enclosure to Kingwin with Prolific chipset to go with the BenQ and Again, my laptop doesn't recognize it.

The first time when I turned on the enclosure, window recognized it but with a yellow exclamation mark next to the USB Mass Storage. I uninstall it to reinstall but nothing happened during the reinstallation. Now the laptop won't even recognize it, not even the Mass Storage.

I have tried both Master and Slave mode. I tried a Window Safe Moding cleaning. I installed Window Service Pack 2. The BenQ ejects when I push the button.

Does anybody know how I could solve the problem?

Thank you so much in advance

i have Belkin USB2.0 enclosures, they work 100% fine with a few different makes of dvd burner, most recently the Benq DW1650. As to jumper settings, ALL USB enclosures have to be set to MASTER only, regardless of how many enclosures you have

    Thank you for replying!

My BenQ worked before but there was something wrong with my laptop so I had to perform a system restore. After restoring, I updated my laptop to the same as before the restore and now it's not working.

Is it because the BenQ might be broken?
