After installing windowblinds everything on my PC was working fine, until I selected a new skin. After that, my system slowed down terribly. Has anyone else seen this happen after skinning XP MCE?
Sounds like you've gone and downloaded an infected skin. Its reccomended you download skins from Wincustomise and/or deviantart, tell us where you downloaded it from before anything else.
After going home and messing with it more, I am inclined to agree with you. I think all of the skins that I had were screwed up. I will try your deviant art idea. thx.

Its probably more of a corruption than an infection. i scanned the file with kaspersky before installation. i'll look into it though.
Can you tell me where you got it from first?? Lost of skins are known to be infected, give me the site and I'll see what SiteAdvisor says about it.
to avoid violating the rules of this great site, no, i cannot say where i got it from. the skins that i tried to use were the few skins that were included with the file. i appreciate all of your help with this rav. i will download a new skin to try from deviant as you suggested priviously. thanks again. and yay for me! i just jumped up to junior member!
If posts in wincustomize are anything to go by using cracked versions of wb give nothing but trouble..lol.. yep peeps ask for help even if the softwares a cracked version..lmao
