i have a laptop with windows 2000 NT on it and there is a password on the user profile and administration password...(i cant boot into safe mode to change password) i have the laptop hdd currently connected to my desktop through a adapter, my pc recognizes the hdd and i can explore the hdd system files and such from my main pc. Is there a way to remove the user account or admin password by editing or removing a file?
