I have a Windows 2000 installation disc which I installed on my computer. whenever it comes to check for your mouse and keyboard, it goes into Dos mode and fills the screen with commas. Can anyone help?

When does this happen? During the boot process of the system, or Windows 2000?

I will assume that this is happening after the boot screen...

    What hardware are you using?

    paderickm,
First do what Morph416 says, and if that does not work, try a 'Repair install'
