Windows 7 AVI playback

    Is there any reason a structurally healthy AVI movie file would play fine in Vista or other OS's, but have the sound off in Windows 7? I know in Vista I had both DivX and AC3 installed. Would that make a difference? I've noticed that in some of my other AVI's the sound is off just a little bit in W7 too, where they were fine in Vista.
