Hi. Does someone know where I could find video and audio drivers for an ASUStek P4P800-MX motherboard? I know it's an old motherboard, and that the audio might not work at all. (It couldn't hurt to try, though, and I haven't had any luck in finding such drivers yet.) Thanks in advance.
That board has an old Soundmax audio chip...you can do a search on google to find a driver for your operating system. You can get the video drivers here: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/cs-009241.htm [edit] forgot to mention...vista drivers are windows 7 drivers for most things; back when Win7 first came out, drivers were not even an issue; we just used vista drivers.
hi the nearest you can pick on os is xp..but its worth a try http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?model=P4P800-MX&SLanguage=en-us

mks2001, start your own thread about your problem as hijacking another member's thread is a forum rule no no. according to dell link http://support.dell.com/support/top...8791CC5F575B1FFAE040AC0A64E930A2&docid=364757 your pc in not compatible with win7. check 3com & intel sites for drivers or possible solution to your problem. according to this Specifications link http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx240/en/ug/specs.htm#1106346 i wouldn't put win7 on it.
