Windows 7 freezing issues

I've been having this issue where windows 7 64bit keeps freezing randomly. I've tried changing the power settings, upping the voltages for my memory, and adjusting the temperatures on the components to help prevent it from freezing. I'm at a loss of what to do next. I ran the memory diagnostic in windows, each piece of RAM froze at 07%, while one of the sticks froze at 07% and went to black screen. I'm running memtest now to confirm if the RAM is bad.

Just seems to me that ur memory is failing sorry i cannot help you further as i am learning myself

 

I ran memtest on each piece of RAM individually and there seem to be no issues. The GSkill RAM said it required anywhere from 2.0 - 2.1 voltage and my mobo has it set to 2.04. I'll try and see if 2.1 works better for it.

 

Is that standard or have you overclocked it?

 

standard was 1.8 i believe?

i just ran memtest again in 4 instances because i have a quad core. I received memory error Pair 31518899, cannot store values accurately.

i also noticed my processor cores jump up to around 50C+ while running the test, which is just way too hot.

 

Yeah it is you may need better cooling, or maybe better circulation in your case....is it a legit copy of windows?

 

You've just answered your question,if running memory test and it fails, the ram is bad.Most cases of PC freezing is poor memory,components getting hot or graphics problems.Must say Ive never heard of G.SKILL memory.
