hi all...i need help...heres the problem....so im running ok in winxp sp2 pro...and i have maybe 4,5 or 6 different windows opened, firefox, msn, some folder, media player, utorrent, etc... and then i suddenly try to run another window/app, for example paint or for that matter any kind of window, if it is an explorer window(internet, or explorer) it shows with no letters or symbols(stop refresh, go back) or if it is paint it says: could not create blank file or something and it doesnt start (paint)....
the moment i try to open these extra windows the "Windows XP critical stop" sound comes on continuously(u can hear it at c:/windows/media/) and in oder for me to work in that window or any other one that was already opened i have to close one of them, when i do close a window/app the bang bang(the sound) stops and everything is ok...i dont know why this happens considering i have a nice system...please help
    thank you

Hey, try this.........In local disk C or wherever you install programs..At the top of the page...

    Tools>Folder options>View tab>Advanced settings> (check box) Launch folder windows in a separate process.......apply

That should help you with multi window use.....post back....
