I am using Windows 7 64 bit and have downloaded the Stellar Phoenix windows data recovery latest version V4.1. It is running very smoothly on 64 bit although it is compatible with 32 bit.

Are all the 32 bit programs able to run at 64 bit machine in Windows 7.

Most high performance 32-bit and 64-bit processors have integrated floating point hardware, that is why they may run at 64 bit machine in Windows 7 but not all.

    Thanks dear

If it is so, then why don't every manufacturer use this " integrated floating point hardware ".

Dear I want you to please explain this term in more details.
