hey guys i have a simple question after installing windows xp in my desktop,,my ethernet port wasn't working, i went to device manager and it had an exclamation mark next to "Ethernet controller" so i figured i need the drivers , but i dont know exaclty where to get them, i have search the internet, but not sure which ones to get, ive been to driversguide.com and had no succes, my ethernet port is build in the mother board, and it has 512 ram 200 gb hdd windows xp sp2 , i know this is easy to fix but i just cant find the right drivers for it. any suggestion THANKX TO EVERYONE
Yo tony, don't you still have the cd you got with you're motherboard? That disc contains all the drivers for everything on your MB. it will definitely be on there.
sjb007, if windows sees a netcard even with an exclamation mark beside it means the bios has it enabled. tony, what is the make & model# of the computer or motherboard?
thanks for the link, i downloaded the drivers and my ethernet port is working now,,thanks for the help ddp
