I had a bin file and tryed opening it not realizing I didnt have a app that would recconize the bin.. so stupid me. i hit Always open with this application and chose explorer.exe to open the .bin file , now the file is a B51 windows file and is pretty much useless. Ive tryed using other apps to open it hoping it would switch the file back to .bin, I cant burn this file or extract it thanks to my mistake. How do I make this file back to an unknowen windows file so i can burn it simply as .bin ?

i hope that wasnt to confusing ?

    please help , asap .
    thank you kindly

To unassociate a file type double click on My Computer and then click on Tools > Folder Options > File Types.
Find and highlight the extention you want to remove the file association from then click on Delete.
    Click on Apply then OK.
