Windows installer not working

    My Itunes hasnt been working for a while now
    so i tried to uninstall it to then re-install it
    when i go to uninstall it
    windows installer opens and then it doesnt do anything
    it more or less freezes
    is there anything i can do to fix this?
    ive noticed it doing the same thing
    when i try to install programs that
    dont have thier own installer
    any help would be greatly appreciated
    as i havent been able to update my ipod for a while now

    You can just download iTunes 7 and install it, and it should take care of the iTunes problem.

    I am having the same problem, just tried to download I Tunes 7 and get a error message about the Windows Installer not working. I have downloaded the latest version of the installer but it still won't work! Any ideas?
