I also tried the Vista RC2(works fine months ago) but I got the same error. My Specs: Intel Celeron 1.6ghz 512mb of ram ati radeon 9250 128 mb maxtor 60gb and maxtor 20 gb of harddrive. DVD Writer 8x Please reply, it's urgent Smile I only have 2 hours... Thanks in Advance
did you go to microsoft website and do the test to see if your system is up to the vista bulk? you need some more ram,
Your system is NOT good enough to properly run Vista. You need AT LEAST 1 GB of RAM, and a better videocard wouldn't hurt either, IF you are still going to try and install it. I wouldn't do it if i where you though.
I just purchased a new laptop from Dell with Vista on it, and it is the biggest peice of trash I have ever tried to use (becuse of Vista)I e-mailed Dell over it and waiting for reply but it took me into 6 different windows asking me what to do before I could contact Dell!!!
it works fine on my pc weeks ago.. but my bro reformatted it because he cant play his game.. i used the readyboost thing so my pc is not that slow... and besides the minimum requirement is 512 mb, 20 gb hdd with 15gb free space, and blah etc. i asked the microsoft forums about it but no one replied.. seems no one had encountered the same error as mine...
Those minimal requirements will barely allow your system to run once Vista is installed. The requirements i gave are what most computer stores consider the bare minimum to run Vista. And since last i checked, microsoft where idiots when it came to hardware, i'd feel it's safe to say that you're better of trusting folks who know the hardware.
ok i upgraded my Processor and Memory today Processor upgraded to Intel P4 3.0ghz memory Upgraded to 1gb(money is short i want 2gb...)
