Before installing Longhorn onto my computer which is 32 bit P4 Intel 2.66G processor I'd like to discuss with you about this new Microsoft System Product. Anything about it will help me and give to me the courage to do it. I'd like to know about stability, Multimedia Package, and other important things compareing with Windows XP.
You might be able to get some useful info here: http://www.winsupersite.com/ Keeping in mind you're not likely to find heavy criticism of MS products there. Still it might give you some perspective on the new 64 bit stuff.
To you that have doublts about installing Longhorn ?? if you have partions on your hard drive as I do then you can do a clean install on another partion and obviously don't affect your working platform (assumably XP) and test the new platform. I have done it and all but don't have the recognition of some of my hardware ie sound, it took 2.66gb of space. Why does windows get more space for each version it comes out with. It is very simular to XP but for some slight differences. Please get back to me with your thoughts
