Eli tässä viimeisessä linkissä säädetään cache:ta ja ei auta juuri tähän ongelmaan? Kuitenkin siellä on maininta max.muistista 512Mb??? Viimeiseksi kysymys ja KIITOS etukäteen hyville vatauksille. Onko minulla edes teoriassa saada noita 512Mb muistikampoja yhtäaikaa toimimaan Win ME:n kanssa? Vaihtoehtona tietysti käyttiksen vaihto, mutta sinnittelisin vielä jonkin aikaa tällä (sitten vasta kaikki uusiksi kunhan 64bit todella tulee). Win98:ssa törmäsin parikertaa saman tapaiseen ongelmaan.. muistia oli koneessa 2x256Mt mutta windows näytti 256Mt. muutin tota system.ini tiedostoa tämän ohjeen mukaan: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;181862 niin sen jälkeen rupesi toimimaan.. mutta kuten sivulla sanotaan 98 ja Me ei oo suunniteltu niin suurille muisti määrille.. Tuskin on kyse siitä, että muistikampa olisi rikki, mutta mistäs sitä etukäteen tietää. Tolla voi muisteja tarkistella: http://www.memtest86.com/ Tolla muistimäärällä suosittelisin jo käyttiksen vaihtoa: win2000/xp
Joitain 98/ME koneita ei saanut toimimaan yli 512 muistimäärällä. Ja itsekkin kyllä suosittelen windows 2000/XP:tä jos koneessa riittää tehot.
