Windows Media 11

    i have installed wmp11 and it will not work. its giving me that standard
    error message, "send error report/don't send." any ideas?

    can you be more specific..are you trying to open a file in MP11..or are you trying to open MP11

    sorry about that,

    basically when i open the program, WMP11, it gives me that standard error message and closes itself.

    Hmmm..well..it is still in Beta, but I have no problems with it ..except it does not play LPCM audio in dvd...try reinstalling..

    i ended up reformatting my hard drive and now it works perfectly.

    thats good, glad it works...you may have been able to fix that with a system file check...I'm only adding this for future problems...with windows in the tray..you can replace any damaged OS files, or missing ones...by running file check through CMD

    hey i am gettin the same problem and i dont wanna format my hdd nor reinstall OS please help ASAP..

    you barely waited twelve hours to bump...don't do that. if no one gets to your question in a full day or two, then post back. this place provides help on a free and voluntary basis; people will get to you when/if they can help. okay?

    have you tried completely uninstall WMP? running a registry cleaner and the typical cleanup programs, then reinstalling it? try running the system check from the command prompt.

    If your not to fussed on the type media player just install winamp you can get skins for both at wincustomise
