I've been trying to use Windows Media Encoder to convert some movies to put on my Zune, but every time I select the file that I want to convert, Windows Media Encoder just crashes, I've tried removing all 3rd party codecs and installing different ones, still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated, here is what my event viewer says: Faulting application wmenc.exe, version 9.0.0.2980, faulting module ffdshow.ax, version 1.0.5.1712, fault address 0x000227bd.
I uninstalled ffdshow and this is the error now. Faulting application wmenc.exe, version 9.0.0.2980, faulting module wmesrcwp.dll, version 9.0.0.2980, fault address 0x00005368.
