I have Windows Media Player 9 installed and my OS is Windows Media Center 2004. I looked at the readme files for Windows Media Player 11 and nowhere was Media Center 2004 mentioned, only the 2005 version. Can I replace Windows Media Player 9 with version 11 without causing problems to my system? All help is greatly appreciated.

You can, but IMHO, it isn't necessary. WMP 9 is DRM free, and doesn't foul up any programs. I won't move beyond WMP 9, unless forced to.

In that case I'll stick with 9. Thanks for the input.
