Hey all , i recently dl and installed WM 11, and worked fine for about a month or so. Then one day, as i put in my DVD to watch on my laptop, i got the error C00D11B1. Which said my sound driver isn't updated. So i updated it and nothing , then i Uninstalled my sound driver from device manager and downloaded the latest version and installed it. Still nothing worked ! Its not only with WM 11 its will all other players on my laptop. The Acer Cinema doesnt work, nor does Real Player. It keeps telling me my error is sound driver. Can anyone help ? ANYONE ? I wanna return to enjoying my dvds during lectures !! This is the link to the Microsoft Error Website i keep getting sent to after the error:
Dint sounds stop to work after error message or after installing the new soundcard driver? What soundcard it is and what driver do you now have?
hey , well the sound always works on the laptop its just playing DVD's. Streaming from the net works fine. Just when i put in a DVD it doesn't work. I checked the region and its region 1. so thats not the problem. And i can play other cd's fine and the drive shows me the DVD content but i cant play it with any player. My sound driver is a Realtek AC'97 Audio, in the device manager it says its working properly. i updated it to the latest version on the website but it still doesnt play my movies ! thanks
Still couple of questions: When putting DVD to the drive shows it video OK but not audio? What name of the CD/DVD station? Any marks in Device Manager?
